Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the second Tashkent International Investment Forum

Today, April 27, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the second Tashkent International Investment Forum. This was reported by the Presidential Press Secretary. The head of state will give a speech at the plenary session of the forum.

It is reported that the session will also be attended by Mohammed bin Sulaiman al-Jassir, President of the Islamic Development Bank, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan — head of the presidential administration Aqilbek Japarov, UN Deputy Secretary General Olga Algayerova, United Arab Emirates minister of energy and infrastructure Sukhail al-Mazruiy, Hungarian Minister of economic development Marton Nad, Chairman of the board of ACWA Power The session is moderated by noted British journalist Jonathan Charles.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev is also scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings within the framework of the forum.

In total, about 2.5 thousand business circles and representatives of the banking and financial sector from 70 countries will take part in the event.

TIIF-2023

On April 27-28, the second Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-2023) will be held in the capital. According to reports, the initial forum was attended by more than two thousand participants from 56 countries of the world — large investors and high-ranking guests.

The number of participants in the next event is expected to increase even more. During the Forum, a plenary session aimed at comprehensively revealing the investment potential of Uzbekistan and Central Asia, more than 30 discussions of experts, panel dialogues, round tables and B2B negotiations are planned to be held.
