During a presentation held in Texas on October 15, 2026, the electric vehicle ascended a massive curved ramp and took flight, aided by a powerful suction system. It was noted that special compressed-gas thrusters—based on technology developed by SpaceX—helped control the vehicle’s movement in the air and its subsequent landing. The demonstration also featured the Roadster hovering above other vehicles. This highlights Tesla’s ambition to integrate automotive engineering with aerospace technology. According to Tesla representatives, the Roadster can accelerate to 97 kilometers per hour in less than one second, with a top speed exceeding 370 kilometers per hour. However, mass production of the vehicle is not scheduled to begin until 2028. The final price and full technical specifications for the model have not yet been disclosed.
