Women from Kegeyli became employed in a modern enterprise

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev began his visit to the Republic of Karakalpakstan from the Aktuba textile enterprise in Kegeyli district.
Previously, there was no industry in the district at all. The work on structural transformation of the economy, the results of inter-territorial cooperation are also felt here. In particular, three projects were launched together with entrepreneurs from Andijan. 
One of them, Aktuba textile, has a production capacity of more than 3 million pieces of knitwear per year. To do this, modern equipment from Germany, Japan and Turkey is installed. 500 jobs were created. There are plans to export $ 6 million annually. 

The head of our state examined the work process at the enterprise, talked with working women. The opening of such new businesses in remote areas highlighted the importance of women's employment and gave instructions to officials to continue doing so.In the enterprise itself, a vocational retraining Training Center has been established. In it, unemployed citizens in nearby neighborhoods learn a trade and find their way.
