Mahra Al Nahayyan, a 32-year-old member of the UAE royal family, has faced court after being found unconscious on a London street while under the influence of drugs. She was discovered in an unconscious state next to a fence along a busy road. A man was also found unconscious nearby, while a three-year-old child had been left unsupervised close to moving traffic. Passersby intervened to help the child and contacted the police. The woman regained consciousness approximately 30 minutes later. She stated that she had consumed drugs a few days earlier and was suffering from severe exhaustion on the day of the incident. Following the event, she began treatment for drug addiction. The court placed her under supervision for two years and mandated that she undergo rehabilitation. She was also ordered to pay a fine of £5,000, along with £1,000 in legal costs. The judge noted that the intervention of the passersby had saved the child from serious danger.
