Dear compatriots!
Dear guests!
On this wonderful day, being together with you in the magnificent Yangi Uzbekistan Park, I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart congratulate you, all our multinational people on a wonderful holiday Nowruz.
Today, everywhere in our country, in valleys and oases, towns and villages, in parks and squares, folk festivals dedicated to Navruz are held with great enthusiasm.
In these charming moments, when joy overflows our hearts, I express to you, congratulating all compatriots from young to old, deep respect and the kindest wishes.
Happy New Year to you according to the Eastern calendar!
May Navruz bring happiness and well-being to all of us!
Dear friends!
Today Navruz comes to our blessed land – a wonderful holiday of awakening of nature, renewal, kindness and mercy.
Spring rains generously watered the fields and gardens, promising a rich harvest and prosperity.
We thank the Almighty for the fact that once again, together with our people, we joyfully celebrate this radiant holiday, when every person feels even more like an integral part of nature.
Dear participants of the celebration!
Today, we are all selflessly working for the sake of building a New Uzbekistan – a society and a state in which people live freely and safely.
Building a New Uzbekistan is a firm decision of our entire 36 million people, which has become the meaning of their life. And this noble goal is completely in tune with the philosophy and values of Navruz.
After all, our main goal is to ensure the rights and legitimate interests, honor and dignity of every citizen, to create decent conditions for all residents of the country, including remote and hard–to-reach areas, so that our people are satisfied with their lives.
On this important path, we will accelerate the implementation of the large-scale programs we have initiated for the comprehensive development of the economy and social sphere, science, education and upbringing, healthcare, culture and art, sports, the introduction of a healthy lifestyle, nature protection.
To make the life of the people of Uzbekistan worthy in all respects, we are helped by the experience, wisdom and blessings of our respected veterans, venerable fathers and mothers, which fill us with strength and energy.
The selfless work of our people, their support for the course of reforms are a support for us in bringing national development to a new, even higher level.
On this momentous day, I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart for your worthy services in the development of the country.
I am sure that you, showing a high political culture, will take an active part in the upcoming important political event and will contribute to the creation of a solid legal basis for strengthening the results we have achieved and resolutely continuing the reforms.
We express our best wishes to our skilled farmers and farmers who go out to the fields today, appreciating every fine spring day and hour.
We all sincerely welcome the creators of the New Uzbekistan – young men and women who join our ranks with great hopes and aspirations, we wish them happiness and success.
I want to emphasize once again that we will create all the conditions and opportunities for harmoniously developed, educated, active and energetic youth of the country to reach the highest levels.
We are all very pleased that our younger generation, justifying the trust of the people, is achieving great success.
Recently, the youth national football team of Uzbekistan was awarded the honorary title of Asian champion, demonstrating strong will and skill in uncompromising struggle at competitions. She also won a ticket to the World Cup, which will be held in Indonesia.
Along with this, the victory at the Asian Championship, beating all its rivals, was also won by the youth national team of Uzbekistan in ice hockey under 18. Of course, our hockey players, who have achieved such a high result for the first time in the history of the country, deserve special recognition. A truly real hero of the championship was our gifted striker Zhasurbek Rustamkhanov, who scored four goals against opponents.
And the country's young chess players glorify Uzbekistan for the whole world with their great intellectual potential.
I would especially like to note that at the international women's chess tournament recently held in Tashkent, our talented athlete Nilufar Yekubboeva took the honorable second place, ahead of more than 100 foreign participants.
With their encouraging successes, our purposeful young men and women have once again clearly shown what great achievements the youth of Uzbekistan is capable of.
They achieve the same important results in the fields of science, culture, art and literature.
I sincerely congratulate our young champions and prize-winners of international competitions, their coaches and mentors, parents, all sports fans, all our people.
Of course, these bright achievements of young people have become wonderful gifts for all of us for the Navruz holiday.
Such victories, of course, further enhance the authority of the New Uzbekistan.
The new Uzbekistan really needs such young people who are ready for high achievements in the name of the Motherland, who can be an example for millions of peers.
The country and the people are rightfully proud of their young generation – worthy successors of the good deeds of our great ancestors, known all over the world.
Thank you, my dear children! May success and luck always accompany you on the path of life.
Dear compatriots!
Everyone is well aware of the words of our great poet and thinker Alisher Navoi addressed to humanity, to us – descendants: "May your every day be like Navruz!".
Following this wise covenant, on the basis of such noble traditions of our people as showing respect for the elders, caring for the younger ones, helping and supporting those in need, we must do good deeds not only in Navruz, but always, every day.
Today we are creating a social and truly people's state in Uzbekistan, where kindness and mercy, generosity, mutual respect and consent will become the norm of life. To do this, I urge all of you, first of all managers and officials, to act even more effectively.
We must ensure that every person in our country, which has been famous for its spiritual values and humanism for centuries, fully feels the attention and care of the people and the state.
Dear friends!
This year Navruz falls at a special time, followed by a number of significant dates and events.
These days we are on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan. Taking this opportunity, I sincerely, wholeheartedly congratulate the Muslims of the country, the entire Islamic Ummah of the world.
May the Almighty bless us for all the good deeds done in this holy month, and our pure thoughts will find embodiment.
I also congratulate all of you on the Mahalla Workers' Day, which will be celebrated in the country tomorrow.
During the years of independence, Navruz turned into a wonderful holiday of friendship and kindness for us, which even more united all the representatives of different nations and nationalities living in the country as a single family, in peace and harmony, and we highly appreciate it. We will cherish this unique, priceless wealth like the apple of our eye.
It is gratifying that this holiday, which is a symbol of peace and tolerance, in accordance with the United Nations resolution, is widely celebrated on March 21 as the International Day of Navruz.
Taking this opportunity, we sincerely welcome the distinguished ambassadors of foreign countries and representatives of international organizations participating in our celebration today, and we express our good wishes to their countries and peoples.
Dear compatriots!
Once again, I congratulate all of you on the national holiday of Navruz.
May Navruz bring peace and prosperity to every family, every mahalla, and all our people!
May the Almighty support us in all our good endeavors!
May our native Uzbekistan prosper, our people will be happy!
