Uzbekistan sent special wagons for the transportation of prisoners to Kazakhstan

Newly produced special wagons in Uzbekistan were sent to Kazakhstan. "Uzbekistan Railways" informs about this. According to the order, 8 new special wagons of type 61-942 manufactured by the joint-stock company "Tashkent Passenger Car Construction and Repair Plant" are intended for use on the railways of the CIS countries. These wagons fully meet all the requirements of the TR TS 001/2011 technical regulation and have a certificate of conformity. The special carriages manufactured under the leadership of the "Tashkent Passenger Car Construction and Repair Plant" and the projects based on the normative documents of the leading experts were delivered to the city of Astana and handed over to the customer based on the technical conditions of the National Guard of Kazakhstan. It is noted that the design of the wagons is unique and includes additional modern equipment. Air conditioning system, drinking water and air disinfection equipment, eco-friendly bio-toilet, video surveillance device, door alarm device, etc. are installed. It was reported that projects for the production of new special wagons are being considered in order to further develop relations between the two countries.
