Ulugbek Kasimov was confirmed as the governor of Surkhandarya region

In it, Ulugbek Kasimov, who has been working as the governor of Surkhandarya region since December 2022, was confirmed as the governor of the region. Ulugbek Kasimov was born in 1983, has a higher education and is a lawyer. He graduated from Samarkand State University in 2005. He started working in the prosecutor's office in 2005 at the Denov district prosecutor's office, worked in various positions at the Surkhondarya regional prosecutor's office, since 2011 as a prosecutor of the General Prosecutor's Office, Kumkurgan district prosecutor, governor of Muzrabot and Denov districts of Surkhondarya region. Since November 2018, he has worked as a prosecutor of Surkhandarya region, and in September 2019 he became a prosecutor of Fergana region. Before being appointed as acting governor of Surkhandarya region, he worked in the position of Tashkent city prosecutor.
