Turkmen Ambassador met with Speaker of Pakistani National Assembly

Meeting of the Turkmen Ambassador A. Movlamov with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan R.P. Ashraf. The conversation of the parties took place in the building of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The central topic of the meeting was the discussion of issues of strengthening bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation. The parties stressed the importance of mutual visits and meetings for the exchange of experience.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan informed R.P. Ashraf about the creation of the organ of people's power Khalk Maslakhaty, which will expand the opportunities for the participation of the masses in making important state decisions. Movlamov also spoke about the implementation of projects on the TAPI gas pipeline and TAP power lines.

The Speaker of the Assembly stressed the importance of expanding mutual trade between the two countries, and also invited the Turkmen side to use the potential of a number of Pakistani seaports.
