In the city of Namangan, five clandestine warehouses were discovered, containing 46,865 units of 287 types of medicinal products that had been illegally imported from abroad. According to preliminary estimates, the total value of these medicines amounts to 5.2 billion soums.
Three individuals—born in 2002, 1997, and 1987—were apprehended during an operational measure conducted jointly by the State Security Service (SSS), the Customs Committee, and the Department of Internal Affairs.

The seized medicines include preparations such as "Erinit," "Gemaza," and "Phenotropil." Expert examinations have been ordered for these items, and a pre-investigation inquiry into the matter is currently underway.
