An extraordinary session of the Khorezm Regional Council of people's deputies was held in Urgench.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the session. 

The governor of the region, Zhurabek Rahimov, reported on the proposals and plans for the development of the territory, ensuring employment of the population. 
J. Rahimov announced his plans for industrial development in the region. The president gave the officials a number of assignments in this regard. 

By the end of this year, the responsible were tasked with directing an additional 100 billion for the infrastructure of 14 large industrial projects, setting up electrical and pharmaceutical industrial parks in the city of Urgench and the Urgench district, investing $ 20 million and increasing the production capacity of cars “Damas” and “Labo” by 1.5 times (from 90 thousand to 150 thousand). 

This will create at least 300 new jobs. 

In addition, the Newariq was obliged to transfer the district from Category 5 to Category 3, having completed at least 250 projects. 
To do this, entrepreneurs who want to carry out a small – scale industrial project are allowed to take out a loan without collateral up to 100 million rubles (now-33 million rubles).
