The Turkmen tennis player will take part in the final stage of the Asian Championship

Turkmen athlete Ilima Huseynova will take part in the final round of the Asian Tennis Championship, which will be held from April 4 to 15 in Bhubaneswar (India).

According to ORIENT in the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan, she will perform as part of the Central and West Asian team, where she was selected following the results of the regional qualification tournament in Bahrain held in January this year.

Following the results of the qualifying stage of the Central and West Asian Championships, Huseynova scored the required number of points, having received an invitation from the International Tennis Federation (ITF) to perform in the final part of the competition.

In addition to the Central and West Asian national team, athletes from Kazakhstan, Indonesia, India, Iran, Hong Kong, the Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand, Vietnam, as well as teams from South, Southeast and East Asia will take part in the Asian Under-14 Championship.

The championship will consist of two consecutive tournaments. According to the regulations, athletes will perform in singles and doubles.
