The Tashkent metro will temporarily limit the speed of train movement on the Yerusti ring road and Sergeli road sections during periods of high temperature.

According to the metropolitan administration, with the beginning of the summer season, the air temperature will rise sharply, and as a result, the temperature on the rails of underground railways and their steel parts will be very high and may reach 70 degrees.

In this regard, according to the rules for the use of railways, the speed of train movement should be reduced when the temperature of the rails exceeds 55 degrees, that is, the speed of train movement should not exceed 40 km/h when the temperature of the rails is up to 60 degrees, and not more than 25 km/h until 65 degrees, 70 and and at a higher level, the movement of trains is prohibited.

Taking into account the above, in order to ensure the safety of trains and passengers, a temporary restriction of the speed of trains will be introduced at the time when the air temperature rises on the Yerusti ring road and Sergeli road sections of the metro.
