A 15-year-old girl in Guatemala, who was thought to be dead, woke up inside her coffin.

In Guatemala, a 15-year-old girl regained consciousness approximately eight hours after being placed in a coffin, having been presumed dead.
The girl had lost consciousness while traveling in a car. Her father believed she had died because he could detect neither her breathing nor a pulse. However, her death had not been confirmed by a doctor.
During the funeral service, her mother noticed movement inside the coffin. The girl then opened her eyes and sat up.
She has been hospitalized, and the cause of her loss of consciousness is being investigated.
