As of April 1, 2023, the permanent population of Uzbekistan was 36,197,781 people. This was reported by the Statistics Agency. The number of permanent residents of the republic increased by 2.2% compared to the same period last year. Since the beginning of this year, it has increased by 172.8 thousand people. This means that the population of Uzbekistan will increase by an average of 57,600 people per month in 2023, and by an average of 1,900 people per day.
