The number of students staying on rent in Uzbekistan was announced

In Uzbekistan, as of may 1, the number of students who are on rent has become known. This was reported by The Information Service of the Tax Committee. 

According to him, as of may 1, 311,566 real estate leases are credited in the tax authorities. On the basis of 227.1 thousand rental agreements concluded between individuals, 44.6 billion soums of income tax were calculated, compared with the corresponding period of last year, the number of leases increased by 34% and the amount of income tax accrued by 21%. 

On the basis of 84.3 thousand lease agreements concluded between legal entities, 88.7 billion soums were calculated, the number of leases increased by 10 percent and the calculated tax amount by 30 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year.

There were 52,236 lease agreements with the students, making the total number of students staying at the lease 83,181. The taxpayer's income from renting out housing to students is tax-exempt. They were granted an income tax exemption of 13.2 billion.
