"The neighborhood is becoming a great force" - Shavkat Mirziyoyev

The head of our state visited the 3rd Big Chilonzor neighborhood in Tashkent.

In our country, all programs are implemented based on the needs of the population. For this, the system of "five in the neighborhood" was introduced, and they were given wide opportunities. The concepts of "Safe neighborhood" and "Safe street" are being implemented. Funds are directed to the neighborhoods themselves and they are being improved.

This is also evident in the 3rd Big Chilonzor neighborhood. The building of the Citizens' Assembly, 52 apartment buildings has a modern appearance. Fields and internal roads have been leveled and the surroundings have been beautified. A children's playground and a park have been established.

In accordance with the nationwide project "Green Space", tree saplings, flowers such as basil, namazshomgul, and lawns were planted in the empty areas. A playground, pedestrian and bicycle lanes were built along the "Anhor" canal that passed through the neighborhood. Also, the electrical substation, transformer and low voltage cables were renewed.

The President reviewed these changes. There was a dialogue with neighborhood activists and intellectuals.

- You know, we do all our work in the neighborhood. If the neighborhood is prosperous, if the families are peaceful and profitable, there will be study, research and development. Therefore, we are giving this system additional powers. Today, the neighborhood is becoming a great force in reducing poverty, solving women's problems, and educating young people, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The representatives of the population said that they feel this in the life of the neighborhood, that they pay attention to training and employment of young people. It was noted that 115 billion soums have been allocated for the improvement of 55 neighborhoods in Chilanzor and for solving social issues.

It was announced that 351 billion soums will be allocated to 585 neighborhoods of Tashkent this year, and 35 billion soums will be allocated to 55 neighborhoods in Chilanzor.

The President paid special attention to the issue of employment.

- As you know, we started working on the basis of a new system to reduce poverty and ensure employment of the population. In this case, the unemployed in the neighborhoods are connected to potential entrepreneurs. We need to provide employment for 10,000 unemployed citizens in Chilonzor district. I think that businessmen will take responsibility for this and our intellectuals will come together, - said the head of our state.

At the meeting, the President had an open and sincere conversation with the citizens.
