The delegation of Uzbekistan in Beijing holds meetings with representatives of the Chinese government

The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kuchkarov is on a visit to China, the news agency "Dong" reports.

During the visit, it is planned to hold meetings and negotiations in a number of ministries and departments of the People's Republic of China, visit Chinese provinces, discuss issues of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China, issues of cooperation between our countries in the field of agriculture were discussed, and an agreement was reached on the use of China's vast experience in this field and the implementation of joint projects in Uzbekistan.

In particular, attention was paid to the importance of developing rural areas of Uzbekistan, expanding the knowledge and skills of the population in the field of agriculture, combating desertification and drought.

Representatives of the delegation of Uzbekistan also visited the State Committee of China for Development and Reforms and held talks on cooperation in areas beneficial to our countries.

During the meeting, the Chinese side got acquainted with the essence of the large-scale reforms implemented in various spheres in our country in recent years, their importance in the development of Uzbekistan.

Information was provided on the progress made in the implementation of the main goals set in the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026.

At the same time, the parties agreed to cooperate in such areas as land use reform, regional development and urbanization strategy, employment and social security development, as well as food and strategic reserves management.
