The delegation of Turkmenistan met with the heads of large companies of the UAE

On February 13, within the framework of the official visit to the United Arab Emirates of the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Turkmen delegation met with the heads of large companies of the country - Abu Dabi Port, Masdar and ADNOC, as well as with representatives of the Abu Dhabi Development Fund. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the conversation, issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of fuel energy, in the field of rational environmental management and the use of renewable energy sources were discussed. Attention was paid to expanding cooperation in the field of investment and the development of port infrastructure.

The meetings resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation in the energy sector between SC "Turkmengas" and the National Oil Company of Abu Dhabi. An interbank agreement was also signed between First Abu Dhabi bank and the State Bank of Turkmenistan on foreign economic activity.
