The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia met with the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the country

On February 13, on Monday, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia D. Muratov met with the President of the National AK of Georgia G. Kvesitadze. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, topical issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere were discussed. Attention was paid to the topics of organizing and holding joint events that contribute to strengthening ties between friendly peoples.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan spoke about preparations for the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen thinker Magtymguly Fragi, which will come in 2024.

The parties also noted that the Memorandum signed earlier between the Academies of Sciences of Georgia and Turkmenistan contributes to strengthening constructive partnership in the scientific field.
