The Ambassador of Turkmenistan met with the coordinator of the COMSTECH organization

On February 8, a meeting of the Turkmen Ambassador to Pakistan A. Movlamov with the General Coordinator of the Ministerial Committee for Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the COMSTECH organization M. I. Choudary was held. The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Organization. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of cooperation in the fields of science, education, and culture. The Ambassador of Turkmenistan spoke about the construction of a new administrative center of the Ahal velayat of the "smart city" Arkadag, which is being built according to a fundamentally new modern concept. Movlamov stressed that the center of this approach is the creation of a single ecosystem based on the integration of the latest information and communication technologies.

The Pakistani side highly appreciated the new concept of construction of the city, which is environmentally friendly and contributes to improving the quality of life of the population.

During the meeting, agreements were reached on the further development of cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere, which will be expressed in holding a number of joint Turkmen-Pakistani events.
