Surkhandarya is experiencing strong sand storms

According to the Regional Emergency Management, dust and wind are occurring on the territory of several other districts of the region, in addition to the city of Termez.

The department is appealing to the residents of the region to be careful in times of dust and wind and to take safety precautions.

"Today, June 9, dust-dust events are observed in the districts of Termez city, Denov, Sariosia, Angor, Sherabad, Muzrabat, Qizirik and Bandikhan region due to winds of 4-12 meters per second. Appeals to the FBI were not received from citizens regarding the observed dust wind. The situation is currently stable.
