Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the head of a large US company

On May 26, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the CEO of the Air Products company Seyfi Gasemi.

Issues of further expansion of practical cooperation with this US company, which is a global leader in its field in the promotion of high-tech projects in strategic sectors of Uzbekistan's economy, were discussed.

The head of our state congratulated the head of the company on the successful completion of the agreement on the purchase of three industrial gas equipment of the "GTL" plant in the Kashkadarya region, involving direct investments in the amount of 1 billion dollars, and the signing of the relevant agreement.

It was noted that "Air Products" is participating in another large project - the construction of a gas-chemical complex based on MTO technology in Bukhara region, attracting investments of at least 700 million dollars.

Special attention was paid to promising projects involving another key partner in the development of the "green" hydrogen industry in our country - the Saudi Arabian company "ACWA Power".
