Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the PRC delegation

On March 29, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the PRC delegation led by the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the secretary of the Party Committee of Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region Ma Xinjui. Issues of establishing mutually beneficial practical cooperation between the SHUAR were discussed. Issues of implementation of joint projects in the fields of renewable energy, development of transport infrastructure, establishment of industrial parks and agricultural clusters with the participation of leading Chinese companies in the regions of Uzbekistan were in the center of attention. At the beginning of the meeting, Ma Xinjui expressed gratitude for the greetings and best wishes of the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and his sincere congratulations on his re-election as the Chinese leader. At the meeting, the fruitful results of the historic summit held in Samarkand in September of last year and which opened a new era in Uzbekistan-China comprehensive strategic partnership relations were noted with great satisfaction. It was noted that both sides are interested in accelerating the construction of the "Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan-China" railway project. It was said that Tashkent, Samarkand and other regions of our regions have wide opportunities to expand multifaceted cooperation with the Xinjiang-Uyghur Autonomous Region, including trade, logistics, medicine, agriculture, tourism and education. The head of our state gave instructions on the adoption of a separate "road map" on the activation of mutual communication and exchange, organization of visits and business forums, promotion of priority projects and programs.
