Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov

On March 16, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the national leader of the Turkmen people, the chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as part of the extraordinary summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Ankara. This was reported by the President's press service. According to the report, issues of implementation of agreements reached during last year's high-level visits were discussed. Active dialogues and exchanges at different levels, effective results of the recent meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, increasing indicators of trade and expanding partnerships in priority sectors were noted. In addition, significant attention was paid to the establishment of the "Shavot-Toshovuz" cross-border trade zone and the promotion of important cooperation projects in energy, mechanical engineering, transport and logistics, agriculture and other sectors. Actual issues of regional cooperation were discussed and the plan of future events was reviewed.
