Saida Mirziyoyeva visited the Metropolitan Museum in the United States

Saida Mirziyoyeva held a meeting with representatives of the Metropolitan Museum of art in New York – curator of Islamic art Navina Haidar and deputy director for exhibitions Quincy Houghton. He reported this through his Telegram channel.

It is noted that one of the most prestigious museums in the world received a delegation from Uzbekistan.

Mirziyoyeva writes that the meeting discussed the opportunities of employees of the Metropolitan Museum of art to participate in the IV World Conference on creative economy in Uzbekistan in 2024."For me, communication between institutions is very important. This will stimulate the internal development and cultural exchange of specialists. We also raised the issue of participation of specialists of our museums in the scholarship program and professional development in the Metropolitan Museum during the meeting,” Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote.Earlier, Saida Mirziyoyeva met with Acting Ambassador Katrina Fotovat on separate assignments under the Office of the United States Secretary of state for Global Women's issues.
