One of the main topics of the conversation was the work carried out to protect women from gender violence and prevent it in Uzbekistan. 

"In general, our communication took place openly and sincerely. We discussed in detail the necessary measures so that amendments to the Uzbek codes of criminal and administrative responsibility, which provide for the crime of violence against women and minors, do not remain only on paper," says Saida Mirziyoyeva.
