Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continue search and rescue operations in Turkey

The rescue rapid reaction forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which are in Turkey on behalf of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, are constantly continuing to work to eliminate the consequences of a strong earthquake that occurred in the fraternal country, and search and rescue operations.

As the press service of the Ministry told AZERTAC, rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations as a result of search and rescue operations conducted in the territory of the province of Kahramanmarash, the most severely affected by the earthquake, extracted 51 people alive from under the rubble, as well as the bodies of 655 people and handed them over to their destination.

Search and rescue operations continue with the involvement of special technical means, as well as rescue dogs.
