Representatives of Tajikistan's cricket sport are in Tashkent

Representatives of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan signed a memorandum of cooperation. This was reported by the Uzbekistan Cricket Federation. According to the report, Najibullahi Rozi, chairman of the Cricket Federation of Tajikistan, came to our country at the invitation of the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan in order to develop cricket in Central Asia. Representatives of the cricket federation of the neighboring country got acquainted with the Cricket Academy and other sports complexes located in our capital.

He specially recognized the reforms implemented in our country in terms of training and selection of skilled athletes. During the talks, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Chairman of the Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan Aziz Mikhilyev and the Chairman of the Cricket Federation of Tajikistan Najibillohi Rozi. According to the signed document, prospects for joint holding of three-stage international competitions established by the International Cricket Council (ICC) will be created. According to the agreement, in May of this year, Tajikistan men's and women's national cricket teams will hold training camps in Tashkent.

Let us remind you that around 300 young people play cricket in our country. This sport is included in the program of the "Hangzhou-2022" Asian Summer Games, which will be held in China this year.
