President: Syrdarya will be transformed into an " area of advanced innovation

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is participating in the session of the Regional Council of people's deputies in Syrdarya.
In his speech to the session, the head of state stressed the need to transform Syrdarya into an “area of advanced innovation”in industry, entrepreneurship, agriculture, education and medicine.

- The governor, regional, district leaders in the innovation area should strive for innovation every day to create conditions for residents and entrepreneurs, their worldview and approaches should change.

We thought a lot about which state experience to bring to turn the province into an innovative territory. Admittedly, in recent years, China has made unprecedented advances in industry, agriculture, education and medicine. China has great experience in science, innovation, engineering, electrical engineering, robotics and it. The main thing is that China is one of the closest large markets to us in terms of transport-Logistics.

Chinese investors also have a large interest in the province. In the last six years, more than 60 large industrial enterprises have started working in Shirin city, Mirzaabad and Syrdarya districts along with Chinese investors. The province attracted more than $ 250 million in Chinese investments in 2022 itself. This is almost 90% of the provincial investment.

Therefore, we need to rely on Chinese experience in the development of all spheres in Syrdarya, " said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
