President of Turkmenistan visits Mary velayat

On February 7, 2023, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to mary velayat in order to get acquainted with the seasonal work in the fields of the region. He also held a meeting with deputy prime ministers and leaders in charge of agriculture and the construction and industrial complex of Mary velayat. This was reported in the online publication "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age".

During the meeting, issues of further development of the agro-industrial complex were considered. Attention was paid to the targeted reforms carried out in the region to improve the standard of living of the population and optimize working conditions.

Deputy Prime Minister A. Yazmyradov reported to the President on the dynamics of agricultural work in the fields of the south-eastern region of the country. He drew attention to the measures taken to ensure a stable flow of water in rivers, clean up irrigation systems and strengthen the coastline.

The President of Turkmenistan listened to the report and gave instructions on optimizing water consumption for the needs of agriculture.
