On behalf of the President of Azerbaijan, the rapid response forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations went to Turkey

In accordance with the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, in order to eliminate the consequences of a strong earthquake that occurred in the Republic of Turkey and support search and rescue operations, the rescue rapid response forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), at the initial stage consisting of 400 people, went to the fraternal country.

According to AZERTAC, the force includes employees of the Special Risk Rescue Service, the State Fire Service, Civil Defense Troops and the staff of the Baku Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Planes have taken off from the Heydar Aliyev International Airport to the Turkish city of Adana, which will deliver rescuers equipped with the necessary means for search and rescue operations, as well as specially trained dogs to the fraternal country.
