Meetings on natural resource management were held in the Turkmen capital

On February 9, 2023, two-day interdepartmental consultations were completed, at which topical issues of natural resource management were considered. The meetings were held at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat. The event was organized by the Kazakh-German University and the REGIONAL PROJECT WAVE. This was reported in the online publication "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age".

The participants of the consultations were representatives of relevant departments and ministries of Turkmenistan, representatives of USAID and CAREC in the country. This meeting was the final in a series of interdepartmental consultations on environmental problems and rational consumption of natural resources, carried out within the framework of the project for training public officials, which started in December 2021.

During the meetings, issues of developing technical capabilities and strengthening international cooperation in transboundary water resources management in Central Asia were considered.
