Medical institutions work continuously during Nowruz holiday and holidays

In Uzbekistan, medical institutions work continuously during Nowruz holiday and holidays. This was reported by the information service of the Ministry of Health. In connection with Navruz national holiday, employees working in a five-day working week will have 5 consecutive days off (March 18-22), and those working in a six-day working week will have 4 consecutive days off (March 19-22). During this period, 40,000 medical workers of the following treatment-prophylactic institutions provide services to the population in accordance with the procedure established by law, on duty basis: 1257 multidisciplinary and family polyclinics, 1080 family doctor points, 1002 neighborhood medical centers, district, regional and republican hospitals, specialized medical centers, clinics of medical universities. Doctors and nurses are on duty 24 hours a day in the Republican scientific center of emergency medical care, its 13 branches in the regions, 181 emergency medical reception departments in districts and inter-district centers for joint injuries and acute vascular diseases. 2,755 emergency medical teams throughout the country provide services day and night based on calls from residents.
