Italians will introduce technology in Uzbekistan to convert a conventional car into a hybrid. The corresponding agreement was signed between the Innovation Development Agency and the Italian company EproInn.

The technology consists in the fact that special electric motors are installed on the rear wheels of a car with an internal combustion engine, which are powered by a battery located in the luggage compartment above the spare wheel. Another important point is that the battery is recharged from solar panels, and its own electronic control system is also installed in the car.

According to Italian experts, innovation, of course, will not be able to replace a full-fledged electric car or hybrid released from the assembly line. However, for countries where there are many conventional cars with an internal combustion engine, this can be a good solution due to its cheapness, because the cost of a new electric car is much more expensive than installing this additional equipment.

Italian technology will extend the life of the car and reduce operating costs, as well as reduce fuel costs.

According to the Italians, in order to fully launch the project in the country, it will be necessary to create a network of specialized workshops where cars will be retrofitted.
