In order to ensure the safety of drivers on the winter highway and to provide emergency assistance in emergency situations, mobile posts from among emergency rescuers have been set up on sections of the Dushanbe-Aini-Khujand highway.

These measures are necessary during the period of risk of accidents on the roads caused by cold weather and snowfall.

Emergency rescuers are on duty around the clock. These posts allow you to provide emergency assistance to drivers and passengers who are in trouble and save human lives. They evacuate drivers and passengers from dangerous areas to heating points where they are fed hot food.

Rescuers are equipped with modern equipment and technical means. In extreme situations, the main role is played by providing communication.

For the rescuers on duty at the posts of "Mayhura" and "Ushtur", with the support of the Department of the Central Command at the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), five units of automobile and one stationary radio station of the brand "CODAN" were transferred, which were installed on rescue vehicles on duty.

For citizens who found themselves blocked during avalanches, rockfalls, landslides, dry rations were also handed over to emergency rescue services, which were sent directly to the posts.
