Twitter is introducing a user-generated content monetization program. This was reported by the owner of the social network Ilon Mask.
Now you can make any material for subscribers for a fee — from long texts to videos, for which you need to select the appropriate settings, — writes the entrepreneur.
According to the entrepreneur, Twitter does not receive any funds for this. For the first 12 months of the program, only the payment systems Commission is charged from the funds earned by users.
Mask added that the social network promotes copyrighted content.
Also, users with a paid subscription to Twitter Bluye will now be able to print posts up to 10 thousand characters and use italics when expressing letters.
Earlier it was now reported that Twitter recommendations will only release messages from paid subscribers.
As of April 15, the “for you” recommendation tag on Twitter only shows the posts of users who actively subscribe to Twitter Blue.
The entrepreneur also said that restrictions apply to participation in surveys — only users with a paid subscription can vote in them.
This is the only way to fight a gang of AI-based bots. Otherwise it's a hopelessly lost fight, " Mask tweeted.
Twitter Blue is a monthly paid subscription that allows users to customize Twitter to suit their needs, using premium features.
