Illegally built business facilities are being demolished in Tashkent

Illegally built business objects are being demolished in Markaz-1 district, Mirzo Ulugbek district, Tashkent city. The district administration gave official information about the situation.

It is noted that, contrary to the decision of the government, illegal additional devices were built by business entities in the area. Businessmen insisted that this is the relief and comfort created in the pandemic situation, and resisted bringing the area to order.

The administration stated that any activity must be carried out within the framework of the law and that such situations will be completely eliminated.

Also, the authority of Mirzo Ulugbek stated that the consent of citizens living in the area cannot prevent the demolition of illegal constructions of business entities. Among the buildings being demolished in Markaz-1 area is the famous "Chaikof" coffee shop.

"No deadline was given to solve the problem. They said that special equipment would be brought to destroy everything, and we asked to be allowed to do it carefully ourselves," says Alina Zimmerman, the founder of the chain of coffee shops.

But the team sent by the authorities has started demolishing the building of the coffee shop, and the internal affairs officers are on full duty around it.
