Humanitarian aid sent on the instructions of Mehriban Aliyeva by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation delivered to the earthquake area in Turkey

On the morning of February 9, a special plane landed at Gaziantep Airport, delivering the Foundation's humanitarian aid to support the victims of the earthquake in Turkey, which led to numerous victims, on the instructions of the First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva.

According to AZERTAC, the Foundation's employees sent to the earthquake area will distribute humanitarian aid among the affected citizens in the disaster zone in Turkey. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation sent 36 tons of humanitarian aid to the victims of the disaster, which includes various medicines, oxygen masks, filtering systems, dressing materials, spine splints, neck corsets for first aid, stretchers and other medical supplies and equipment, warm clothes, tents.

The Public Association "Regional Development" (RRRR) of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation earlier announced the beginning of the action of humanitarian assistance to the fraternal country. This campaign, which is being conducted to support the appeal of the Turkish Embassy in our country for humanitarian assistance to the region affected by the earthquake, will last until February 14. During the campaign, THEWD volunteers will collect from citizens the basic necessities that the Turkish provinces affected by the natural disaster need, pack them as soon as possible and deliver them to the fraternal country.
