HEALTHY NATION PROJECT. A meeting with a delegation of World Bank experts was held in the lower house of the Parliament of Tajikistan

The "Healthy Nation" project was developed as part of the implementation of the "National Health Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030". Its goal is to improve the quality of medical care for the citizens of the country. This was noted during the meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri with a group of experts of the World Bank on the implementation of the project in Tajikistan under the leadership of the World Bank Resident Representative in Tajikistan Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan Ozim Sevimli. It is reported by NIAT "Khovar" with reference to the press secretary of the Majlisi namoyandagon Muhammadato Sultonov.

It was noted that the World Bank is a reliable strategic partner of the Republic of Tajikistan, with its support, several projects in the field of health and social protection of the population are being implemented in the country.

Also in the hall of the Majlis-i Namoyandagon, a presentation of the project "Healthy Nation" in Tajikistan was held with the participation of deputies of the Majlis-i Namoyandagon and experts of the World Bank. It was noted that a new project "Global Experience in Health, Nutrition and Population" – "Healthy Nation" – is currently at the preparation stage.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality of primary health care in selected regions and to strengthen national capacity to respond to health emergencies.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Majlis-i Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Kodiri Kosim.
