Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a visit to the Embassy of Turkey in Ashgabat

Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in the country. On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, he expressed words of support for the fraternal Turkish people in connection with the mass death of citizens during a devastating natural cataclysm. This was reported in the online publication "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age".

During his visit to the Embassy, the National Leader of the Turkmen People met with the Ambassador of Turkey, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Mufti of the Republic of Turkey. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that the manifestation of sympathy towards fraternal peoples in difficult situations is a national character trait of the people of Turkmenistan.

He made an entry in the Book of Condolences, setting out sincere empathy for the relatives of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also said that the Memorial Complex "Halk hakydasy" will soon be given a sadaqa in memory of the victims of the earthquake.
