This may be due to his health problems.
Turkish President Recep Toyyib Erdoğan did not participate in the events previously planned as part of his campaign program again on 28 April.

Thus, on the evening of April 25, feeling unwell, Erdoğan canceled rallies on the third day in his line. But at the opening ceremony of the bridge in Adana performed with a video message.

The day before, the president of Turkey appeared at the event for the first time after reports of poor health: he had participated in a video call at a ceremony to deliver Russian-made nuclear fuel to the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant.

On 25 April, reports surfaced that Erdoğan was feeling unwell. A day later he said he would stay at home on the recommendation of doctors.

No official information was given as to what the president's health problems were related to.

According to a number of media reports, this may be due to digestive failure. According to Turkish Vice President Fuat O'khtoy, the head of state was "mildly windy".

Presidential and parliamentary elections will be held in Turkey on 14 may. If in the first round none of the candidates for the position of head of state could win an absolute majority of votes, a second round would be held after two weeks. It includes the two candidates who received the most votes in the first.

In the presidential election, Erdoğan is expected to be the main opponent of Opposition spokesman Kamal Sabirdoroğlu.
