Enterprises in the south of Tajikistan increased the volume of industrial production

Enterprises in the south of Tajikistan have increased the volume of industrial production, according to the Executive Body of State Power of Khatlon Oblast.

"In 2022, the volume of industrial production reached 10.6 billion somoni, which compared to 2021 is 1.5 billion somoni (in real prices 116.7%, in comparative prices 115.5%)," the source said.

In the total volume of industrial production, the share of processing was 59.8%, mining - 4.3%, electricity production - 35.4%, water supply services - 0.5%.

In 2022, 128 enterprises and workshops were created (106 enterprises and workshops and 22 small individual workshops).

1525 new jobs were created at industrial enterprises.
