Cotton oil prices in Uzbekistan fell by one percent

Cotton oil prices in Uzbekistan have fallen on average by 1.3 percent in a month. This was reported by The Information Service of the statistics agency.

According to him, in may 2023, prices for cottonseed oil decreased by an average of 1.3 percent in a month, compared to April. Cottonseed oil prices have been observed to fall on average by 7.4 percent since early 2023. In may 2023, compared to the previous month:

vegetable oil prices have been reduced by an average of 1.7 percent;
sunflower oil prices are on average 2.1 percent cheaper.
butter prices have increased by an average of 0.7 percent.
Last week, 1,288 tons of cottonseed oil were sold on stock exchanges. An average of 19 buyers took part in the held sales each day.
 
During the period under consideration, the average daily prices for all varieties of cotton oil decreased from 15.7 million soums per ton of product to 14.9 million soums.
