The referendum on the updated Constitution was recognized as having taken place, Deputy head of the Central Election Commission Bahrom Kuchkarov said.
By 13:00, over 12,083,105 voters (62.24%) had voted in the referendum.
For reference: a referendum is considered to have taken place if at least 50% of voters took part in the vote.
