Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan visited the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in the UAE

During his official visit to the UAE, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited one of the 6 largest mosques in the world – the Sheikh Zayed Mosque located in Abu Dhabi. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The head of the management of the mosque center, Yousef Al Obaidli, delivered sincere words of greeting addressed to the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov presented the head of the management of the mosque center with the publication of the Holy Quran and a mat for prayer, thereby emphasizing the desire to strengthen cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE.

Yousef Al Obaidli, in turn, presented Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with an excellent illustrated publication, which contains photographs and information about each of the greatest mosques in the world, including the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Chairman Khalk Maslakhaty noted that such a gift is worthy of being stored in the Main Mosque of the center of the Ahal velayat, the laying of which took place in January this year.
