Blind people are treated free of charge at the health center

From 2024, more than a thousand people with visual disabilities will be treated free of charge at the health center.

The draft decision of the Cabinet of Ministers aimed at providing free health care for visually impaired persons was submitted for discussion.

According to it, it is planned to cover the cost of health referrals for people with visual impairments in the "Yangiyul" hospital for heart and nerve diseases belonging to the Blind Society of Uzbekistan from the state budget.

It is determined that starting from 2024, up to 1,200 visually impaired people of the 1st group will be rehabilitated in the health center together with their supervisors. They will have the right to use the 12-day wellness course for free.

According to Qida, one vacationer will not be given a ticket more than once every two years.

Discussions will continue until June 13.
