On May 24, Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Gudratov met with Singapore's Minister of Labor Resources and Second Minister of Trade and Industry Tan Si Leng.
During the conversation, the main attention was paid to the current issues of bilateral cooperation.
In particular, the expansion of trade and economic cooperation was discussed.
The Singapore side noted that it is ready to take comprehensive measures to expand the scope and increase the volume of mutual trade.
It was agreed to hold the "Made in Uzbekistan" exhibition in Singapore in September of this year. This will reveal the potential of industrial cooperation between the two countries and expand the portfolio of joint investment projects.
At the same time, other urgent issues of mutual relations, including the development of partnership in the field of education, the possibility of resuming direct air travel between the two countries, based on Singapore's experience in Uzbekistan, "Smart The prospect of implementing joint projects "city" was considered.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to develop a step-by-step joint action plan to accelerate the implementation of all the discussed agreements.
