An Egyptian company will invest 1.2 billion dollars in Uzbekistan

On May 29, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Najib Sawiris, the chairman of the Egyptian company "Orascom Investment Holding".

The head of Egypt's leading investment-industrial corporation is in our country as part of high-level agreements.

The company's plans to implement large investment projects worth more than 1.2 billion dollars in Uzbekistan within the framework of the joint "roadmap" were discussed at the meeting.

Prospective projects on food production, implementation of geological exploration and exploitation of metal deposits, construction and management of modern hotel complexes, construction of solar and wind power plants were discussed.
