“All presidents of Kyrgyzstan met and forgave each other” - Sadir Japarov

Sadir Japarov said that he gathered all the presidents of Kyrgyzstan in one place and held a meeting. The press secretary of the president, Erbol Sultanbayev, confirmed this information and said that the meeting took place in neutral territory. It was attended by Askar Akayev, Kurmanbek Bakiyev, Roza Otunboyeva, Almazbek Atambayev and Sokhonbay Jeenbekov. According to media reports, the meeting was held in Dubai.

“My main dream for the future of the country has come true — I gathered all the previous presidents at the same table for people's solidarity and held a meeting,” Japarov quotes Cactus.media.

Sadir Japarov noted that during the era of globalization, only those states that strive for internal stability and national harmony develop and become powerful states.

"What did the ancient Kyrgyz who, having created a great empire in time, lived in the Eurasian space eventually achieve? The Empire disintegrated due to disunity and mutual struggles for power. As a result, we got a place in a corner of Central Asia. Yes, we have independence, but what prevents us from finding prosperity? If disagreements are left behind, this issue, I think, will disappear by itself,” Japarov said.

He said that now the country is divided into North and South, provinces, everyone thinks only of himself. In addition, people are still divided into supporters of a particular president. For the future of Kyrgyzstan, it is necessary to unite all together and end such a bias, for which, first of all, the presidents themselves must unite.

"It seems to me that if a joint meeting is held with previous presidents who once left their post after being elected by the people, it will serve the jeeps of the people and become the greatest gift since it was not giving peace. Finally, with determination, I managed to implement this noble idea,” Sadir Japarov said.

He noted that the former presidents expressed their objections and grievances, at the same time admitting their mistakes and forgave each other.

"That was my goal. Supporters of each of the previous presidents, I intend that the inhabitants of each region cease to engage in politics and move on to the development of the economy for the future,” said the current president of Kyrgyzstan.
