Agreements on the construction of four power plants were signed at the Tashkent investforum

Cengiz Energiya of Turkey will build its fourth ies in Uzbekistan in Jizzakh. The Gezhouba Group of China, on the other hand, operates solar photovoltaic plants in Bukhara and Kashkadarya. Also, an agreement was signed with the Korean company to build a Power Generating Station in Ohangaran from exhaust gas.
At the Tashkent International Investment Forum, agreements were signed with companies from three countries on the construction of 4 power plants. This was announced by the Ministry of investments, industry and trade.

According to the agreements, the Turkish Energy Company Cengiz will build a steam-gas power plant in Jizzakh province with a capacity of 400 MW. Transaction cost - $ 30 million.

It should be noted that Cengiz Energiya had previously commissioned 240 MW of IES in Qibray District of Tashkent region and 220 MW in Hovos District of Syrdarya. The company also had plans to build another 450 MW IES in Sirdarya.

Within the framework of the Tashkent investforum, agreements were also signed with China Gezhouba Group Overseas Investment to build two solar photovoltaic plants. One will be built in the Bukhara region and the other will be built in the Qashqya Fes with a capacity of 500 MW each. The cost of projects is estimated at $ 500 million.

Gezhouba Group is also currently carrying out a project to build a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 700 MW in the upper Chirchik District of Tashkent region. Phase 1 capacity (100 MW) of the project is envisaged to be operational by the end of 2023.

The Ministry of natural resources, on the other hand, entered into a $ 55m investment project deal with Korea's Sejin G&e so Ltd. As part of the project, electricity is generated due to the processing of waste gas generated in domestic waste landfills.

16 MW.until the project for the production of electricity will be carried out at a waste landfill in the Ohangaron District of the Tashkent region. It will be the only station in Central Asia to generate electricity from exhaust gas.
